5K Race and 1-Mile Fun Run
The Ben and Tim Day is an annual sporting event held in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Now in its 35th year, the event serves as a tribute to two former Hershey High School athletes, Ben Yupcavage and Tim Russell. The proceedings from the event benefit memorial scholarship funds and local charities that support students. To date, the organization has awarded over $315,000 in scholarships to deserving recipients.

The event features a community atmosphere with additional activities such as a chicken BBQ. It is organized to honor the legacy of the two students, one of whom was a lead runner on a state championship cross country team, while the other was a varsity soccer player and musician. The scholarships are typically awarded to Hershey High School students who demonstrate leadership and academic achievement. Financial support for the program is provided by various local families, foundations, and corporate sponsors.
