Ben and Tim Day : Hershey High School, Hershey PA
Ben and Tim Day is a community running event held on August 22, 2026 at Hershey High School, 550 Homestead Road, Hershey, PA. The event includes a certified 5K, a 1 Mile Fun Run, and a Virtual Run. The 5K course is USATF certified, provides split times at the 1-mile and 2-mile marks, and has water near the midpoint; water and fruit are available at the finish area. Showers and lockers are not available.
Registration is tiered by date with t-shirt guarantees for registrations completed by August 1. Packet pick-up and in-person registration take place at Hershey High School on August 20 and 21 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on the day of the event from 7:00 AM to 8:40 AM. Virtual participants can register through August 17 or earlier for t-shirt shipping options.
Chip timing uses MyLaps disposable BibTags. Awards for the 5K include cash prizes for overall male and female finishers, Masters prizes, and top three awards for multiple age categories. The Fun Run provides goodie bags for participants ages 12 and under. The event maintains a memorial scholarship fund in memory of two Hershey High School athletes and supports scholarships for Hershey High School students.
