Bellevue 5K
The Bellevue 5K event takes place in Bellevue Central Park as part of Bellevue's 250th Celebration of the USA. The program includes a community 5 kilometer race and a youth run for children 12 years and younger. Proceeds benefit the Bellevue Holiday House and Events. Pre-registered participants through July 11 receive a T-shirt; race day registration does not include a shirt. Additional children's shirts are available for purchase in advance for a fee.
The event offers overall awards and age division awards. A special award is planned for the first veteran to finish. Age divisions for the 5K are 13 and under, 14-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over. The youth race presents awards to overall male and female finishers and winners in these age groups: 6 and under; 7-8 years; 9-10 years; and 11-12 years.
Registration fees are listed for each event and online registration closes July 23. Race day registration is available at the race fee without shirts. The weekend schedule around the event includes planned activities such as fireworks, live music, food vendors, and children's attractions on the Friday and Saturday before the race.
