Belleville Main Street Marathon & Half Marathon
The Belleville Main Street Marathon & Half Marathon takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Belleville, Illinois. The event base is listed as 19 Public Square (Main and First Streets), Belleville, IL 62220. The weekend includes two events:

Course, amenities and organisation
Both the full and half marathon courses include Main Street and other city roads. The full marathon is USATF-certified and is listed as a Boston Marathon qualifier; it also includes about 10 miles on a paved trail. Volunteers will staff the course. Registrants will receive a T-shirt and a finisher's medal. The first 900 registrants will receive a pair of Goodr sunglasses. To be guaranteed an event shirt size, registration must be completed by September 13. Post-race offerings listed for participants include pizza from Bennie's Pizza Pub, a special beer brewed by Shoehorn Brewing for attendees aged 21 and older, and a DJ. The event is organised by volunteers from the Belleville Running Club and Toolen's Running Start.
Registration and community support
Registration opens in January 2026. Entry fees, which are non-refundable and non-transferable, are listed in stepped pricing windows; listed ranges are $50 to $130 for the full marathon and $45 to $120 for the half marathon. Age requirements are 18+ for the full marathon and 13+ for the half marathon. The event is a non-profit; proceeds are reinvested into the local community, including a community food pantry, the Belleville Parks and Recreation Department, and a college scholarship fund.
