Bell Ringer Trail Run
The Bell Ringer Trail Run takes place on December 12, 2026 at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee. The event offers three trail distances:
- 50K
- 25K
- 15K
The course uses the park trail network and contains multiple uphill and downhill sections. Terrain is described as moderate difficulty. Some sections follow a mountain bike trail that is open to runners only on race day. Route maps are provided and the course is subject to change.
Aid stations are placed approximately every 5 to 6 miles and will supply water and a variety of snacks such as fruit, pretzels, candies, and fig bars. The event is cupless; participants must provide their own water bottle or hydration pack. Drop bags are allowed and can be sent to Aid Station 3, located at mile 8.8, 15.1, and 29.8, with an option to leave items there or have them returned to the conference center.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance and all finishers receive medals. Awards are turned from park wood by a local woodturners group. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park. Packet pickup is at the Montgomery Bell State Park Conference Center, 1000 Hotel Avenue, Burns, TN.
