Bell Ringer Trail Run
The Bell Ringer Trail Run is scheduled for Saturday, December 12, 2026, at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, Tennessee. The event offers trail races on the park's established trail network with multiple uphill and downhill sections and terrain described as moderate in difficulty.
Distances offered:
- 50K - about 31 miles; shirt, swag bag, extra gift
- 25K - about 15 miles; shirt and swag bag
- 15K - about 9 miles; shirt and swag bag
Aid stations are placed approximately every five to six miles for all distances and provide water plus assorted snacks such as whole fruits, pretzels, candies, and fig bars. The race is cupless; participants should bring a personal water bottle or hydration pack. Drop bags are allowed and may be sent to Aid Station 3, located at mile 8.8, 15.1, and 29.8.
Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each distance, with awards crafted by the Dickson County Woodturners from park wood and engraved locally. All finishers receive finisher medals. Proceeds benefit the Friends of Montgomery Bell State Park, a group that supports the park's recreation and preservation efforts.
Registration closes December 10 at 11:59 PM ET. Refunds of 50% are available within 60 days of registration until October 1; after that date no refunds are given. Bib transfers are permitted until December 10, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
