Bell Ringer Trail Run
The Bell Ringer Trail Run takes place on December 12, 2026 at Montgomery Bell State Park in Burns, TN. The event offers multiple trail race distances:
- 50K (about 31 miles on park trails)
- 25K (about 15 miles)
- 15K (about 9 miles)
The course includes multiple uphill and downhill sections and is described as terrain of moderate difficulty. Part of the route uses mountain bike trails that are open to running only on race day. Course maps and elevation profiles are provided by the organizers and the course routing is subject to change.
Aid stations are located approximately every 5–6 miles and will offer water and a variety of snacks. The race is cupless; participants must bring their own water bottle or hydration pack. Drop bags are allowed; bins at the conference center will send drop bags to Aid Station 3 (mile 8.8, 15.1, and 29.8) and runners can collect or redirect them each time they pass that station.
Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each distance; awards are turned from local park wood and engraved locally. All finishers receive finisher medals.
Packet pickup is at the Montgomery Bell State Park Conference Center with scheduled times the day before and the morning of the event. Lodging is available at the park lodge with a listed discount, late checkout, and continental breakfast. Refund and transfer policies are set by the organizers.
