Course and logistics
The swim is an in-water, triangular course from the boat launch; participants exit and run about 50 yards to transition. Participants must submit a 100-yard swim time for starting position; swim caps are provided and required. The bike is a two-loop route on smooth rural roads with rolling hills; intersections are staffed by police and volunteers and turns are signed. The run is two loops on smooth roads with rolling hills; aid stations are placed approximately every 1 mile. Individual and relay entries are available for each format. Parking volunteers will direct attendees, and parking is close to the staging area. USA Triathlon competitive rules apply. Awards are given to top overall and age-group placers; age groups follow five-year bands up to 80+.
