Beignet 5K in Geneva, IL
The Beignet 5K is a community run/walk scheduled for September 24, 2026, at Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve behind the Kane County Government Center in Geneva, Illinois. The event uses a USATF 5K race course and is organized as a combined run and walk.
Packet pick up is available both before the race at The Kate (318 S. 3rd Street, Geneva) and on site at Gunnar Anderson Forest Preserve on race day. Race day registration and packet pick up are offered at the preserve.
All participants receive a custom Racetracker hat and shirt. A post-race porch party at The Kate follows the event, where beignets are served and each participant gets a drink coupon valid for one beer. Proceeds from the race are directed to the Geneva Community Chest.
