BeHeard Movement 5K Dignity Dash & Thanksgiving Drive
BeHeard Movement holds a family-friendly 5K run/walk in Oklahoma City on November 14, 2026 at Lions Playground at Lake Hefner (9050 Lake Hefner Pkwy, Oklahoma City, OK 73120). The event combines a community 5K with a Thanksgiving Drive to collect items for people experiencing homelessness across Oklahoma.
Registration for the event is $40. The registration package includes entry into the 5K, a commemorative finisher medal, cooling stations along the course, and support for BeHeard Movement’s outreach work. BeHeard Movement operates a mobile drop-in center that provides free showers, laundry services, clothing, hygiene supplies, resources, and case management directly to individuals experiencing homelessness.
Donations collected during the Thanksgiving Drive will be distributed through outreach services and include hygiene products, bottled water, new underwear and socks, jackets and hoodies, blankets, sweatshirts and sweatpants, and individually packaged non-perishable snacks such as chips, crackers, and granola bars. These items are intended to meet immediate needs and to provide practical support to guests of the outreach program.
