Beer Run - AZ Wilderness Gilbert Brewpub
Part of the Arizona Brewery Running Series, this event is an untimed 5k that starts and finishes at Arizona Wilderness Brewing Co., located at 721 N. Arizona Ave. #103, Gilbert, AZ 85233. The course runs on neighborhood streets and nearby paths; roads remain open to traffic, so participants must obey traffic laws, share sidewalks and cross on green lights.
There is a water station at the turnaround/halfway point, and small water bottles are available at check in. Every participant receives a collector's pint glass or series swag item plus additional goodies and sponsor giveaways. After the run each participant receives a token redeemable for one free beer.
Parking is available in front of and behind the brewery, and in neighboring lots just east of the brewery. No on-site registration is available; online registration remains open until the event begins. All ages are welcome; photo identification will be checked at check in. Merchandise is available at the event, with event shirts offered for around $25 to $30 and pre-orders available for pickup before or after the run. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
