Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk : Scottsdale, AZ
The Monster Dash 5K Run/Walk takes place on October 30, 2026 at Arizona Boardwalk, 9500 E Via de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ 85256. The event offers an in-person 5K and a Virtual Run option that can be completed at any location. Virtual registrations are restricted to U.S. addresses; virtual participants receive a custom event shirt and finisher's medal by mail after the event and are sent instructions for submitting their time.
In-person participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit shirt. Age group awards are given to the top three male and female finishers on race day; age groups range from 8 & under up through 80 & over. Chip timing is used, with real time results and event photos available through the event timing website and mobile app. Pre- and post-race snacks are provided.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and also on race night. Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome but must start at the back of the pack. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. The event notes that monsters and mummies will roam the course and event area and that participants are encouraged to wear costumes. Spaces are limited.
