The Monster Dash 5K
The Monster Dash 5K is the sixth annual themed run and walk held at Arizona Boardwalk, East Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ on October 30, 2026. The event is organized by StartLine Racing and includes both an in-person 5K and a virtual option.

Monsters and mummies will roam the course and event area and participants are invited to wear costumes. The virtual option ships a custom finisher medal and custom dri-fit shirt after the event date and is restricted to US addresses; virtual participants will receive instructions by email on how to submit their time. Mail-in registration is available and avoids online processing fees.
Packet pick-up is available the day before at Road Runner Sports in North Phoenix and also on race night at Arizona Boardwalk. The event uses chip timing with real time results and event photos available online or through the mobile app. Age group awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers in each of the listed age groups for race day participants only.
Wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons are welcome with placement at the back of the field. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. The event proceeds regardless of weather and there are no refunds or transfers due to weather. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
