The Monster Dash 5K
The Monster Dash 5K is the sixth annual evening run and walk held at Arizona Boardwalk, East Vía de Ventura, Scottsdale, AZ on October 30, 2026. The event is organized by StartLine Racing and offers both an in-person 5K Run/Walk and a Virtual Run option.
Participants in the in-person event receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom Dri-Fit shirt, with a no shirt option that reduces the fee. The event is chip timed with real time results and event photos available online or via a mobile app. Age group awards are given to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group for race day participants. Pre- and post-race refreshments include granola bars, fruit, water, and Gatorade.
Virtual Run participants receive a custom medal and shirt that will be mailed after the event. Virtual registrations are limited to U.S. addresses. Virtual entrants will receive instructions by email on how to submit their times.
The event welcomes wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons provided those participants start at the back of the pack. Bicycles, roller blades, skateboards, and motorized devices are not allowed on the course. The course and event area will feature roaming monsters and mummies.
