Aberdeen Area Running Club Beer Mile 2026
The event gathers participants to complete a Beer Mile, which consists of drinking a beer, running a 1/4 mile, and repeating that sequence three more times for a total of four beers and one mile of running. The event takes place on 06/13/2026 at Centennial Village, 400 24th Ave NW, Aberdeen, SD 57401.
Participation is limited to people aged 21 or older. All participants must bring valid identification to the event. Registration opens on 12/06/2025 and closes on 06/14/2026. The registration fee is $25.00.
There are three participation formats. In Single, one person drinks all beers and runs all laps. In Double, two people split the event so each person drinks two beers and runs two laps, which equals 1/2 mile per person. In Quad, four people each drink one beer and run one lap of 1/4 mile.
The organizer offers a light, informal suggested training idea that encourages gradually increasing the distance walked to the refrigerator and then expanding the route around the home and property as fitness improves. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
