Beer City Half Orange County takes place at Centennial Park in Santa Ana. The event features multiple running distances that primarily utilize the Santa Ana River Trail. Participants can choose from the following distances:
- Half Marathon (13.1 Miles)
- 10k (6.2 Miles)
- 5k (3.1 Miles)

The Half Marathon course follows the south side of the Santa Ana River Trail and includes a crossing over the pedestrian bridge in Huntington Beach. The route features a turnaround point near the River Jetty and has a total net altitude gain of 266 feet.
The 10k and 5k events are out-and-back courses. The 10k route turns around shortly after Moon Park in Costa Mesa, while the 5k turn is located at the border of Fountain Valley and Santa Ana where Slater Avenue meets West Segerstrom.
Special non-traditional events include the Beer Stroll, a one-mile walk around Centennial Park, and the Beat the Beast Beer Mile. In the Beer Mile, participants drink four 12-ounce beers and run a quarter-mile between each drink. Participants who are outpaced by the event mascot or who cannot complete the consumption requirements are removed from the race. A beer tasting festival featuring local brews is held in conjunction with the athletic events. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
