BEDFORD MA TURKEY TROT
The Bedford MA Turkey Trot is a Thanksgiving Day community fun run and walk held at John Glenn Middle School on McMahon Road in Bedford, MA. It serves as a fund-raiser for the Bedford MA Food Pantry and is organized entirely by volunteers.
Event options include:
- 5K Fun Run
- 2 Mile Walk
Registration is online only through November 25, 2026; there is no same-day registration. Runner entries are limited to 250 because roads are not closed for the event; there is no limit for walkers. Children 12 and under receive a discount that is applied at checkout.
Race shirts are long-sleeve performance blend shirts. Shirts are offered as a separate line item during registration so the full race fee goes to the Food Pantry. The deadline to order shirts is November 7, 2026. Shirt and bib pickup is at Callahan's Karate on November 25; a friend may pick them up for a participant who cannot attend that day.
The event is sanctioned by USATF with sanction number 160322. The organizer notes the event will take place rain or shine unless weather is dangerous, and that dogs are not allowed for insurance reasons. Callahan's Karate is listed as a primary sponsor. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
