Bedale Bolt - Bedale 10K (13 June 2027)
The event is a 10 km road race in Bedale, North Yorkshire, held as a single lap on an undulating course. The route starts and finishes on the town high street, runs out into country lanes with a hill or two including Burrill Bank, and returns to the high street for a finishing straight through the town.
The course is measured by England Athletics and the race uses chip timing. Roads will be closed for the event and marshals will be positioned along the route. The organiser is Bedale and Aiskew Runners. Proceeds from the race will be donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, with a donation made for each race entry.
Race facilities at Chantry Hall, Bedale, include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. The event is not suitable for wheelchairs. Entry is limited to 1000 places and entry on the day is not available. Race licence is listed as TBC.
Finishers will receive a medal. Finishers who registered before 23 April 2027 are eligible for a t-shirt. Chip timing and water are included in the entrance fee. Race number collection is available on Saturday 12 June between 14:00 and 17:00 and on Sunday 13 June between 08:00 and 09:30. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
