Bedale 10K - The Bedale Bolt

The Bedale Bolt is a 10 km road race located in Bedale, North Yorkshire. This event consists of a single lap along an undulating course that features a profile with several hills. The route begins on the local high street before transitioning onto country lanes. The race concludes with a return to the town centre for a finish back on the high street.

Participants run on closed roads with official chip timing. The course is measured by England Athletics, allowing for official time tracking. The event is organized by Bedale and Aiskew Runners and has an entry limit of 1,000 participants. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs.

There are no changing facilities, showers, or baggage stores available at the venue. All finishers receive a medal, and prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners as well as specific age category winners.

Entry fees include a t-shirt featuring a design created by Bedale High School. Participants may choose to opt out of receiving a t-shirt, which results in an additional donation to the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
