The Bedale Bolt is a 10 km road race. The route is a single lap, measured by England Athletics.

The Route

The race starts and finishes on Bedale High Street. The course goes out into country lanes and includes some hills. Roads are closed for the event. The route is not suitable for wheelchairs.

What's Included

All finishers receive a medal. Event t-shirts are available as part of the entry fee; entrants can choose their size. If an entrant declines a t-shirt, an additional donation is made to the event's chosen charity. Prizes are awarded to the overall male and female winners, as well as age category winners.

Event Support

There will be marshals on the course. Facilities include water stations, distance markers, and toilets. There are no changing facilities, showers, or a baggage store. The race uses chip timing.
