Bedale 10K - The Bedale Bolt
The Bedale Bolt is a road race held in Bedale, North Yorkshire on Sunday 14 June 2026. The event is organised by Bedale and Aiskew Runners and the race headquarters is Chantry Hall, Bedale DL8 1AB. The distance is 10 km on a single lap course.
The course starts along the high street and follows country lanes with an undulating profile that includes a hill or two before returning to the town centre for a finish along the high street. Roads will be closed for the race and marshals will be positioned along the route. The course is being measured by England Athletics and the event will be chip timed.
Entry is limited to 1000 places with 968 places listed as still available. Entry fees are shown as £20 for affiliated runners and £22 for unaffiliated runners. Entry includes a t shirt; participants choose a size when entering and choosing no t shirt triggers an additional donation to the chosen charity. Medals will be awarded to all finishers and there are prizes for overall men and women plus age category prizes.
The event supports Yorkshire Air Ambulance with a donation made for each race entry. Facilities at the race include water, distance markers and toilets. Changing rooms, showers and baggage storage are not available. The race is not suitable for wheelchairs. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
