Bedale Bolt - Bedale 10K
The Bedale Bolt is a single-lap road race held in Bedale, North Yorkshire on Sunday 13th June 2027. The course is an undulating 10 km measured by England Athletics and includes country lanes and a few hills, including Burrill Bank, before returning to a finish on the high street.
The route starts along the high street and moves out into rural lanes, with roadside marshals and closed roads for the event. The race is chip timed and water is provided on course. Proceeds from entries are donated to Yorkshire Air Ambulance, with a donation made for each race entry.
Entry is limited to 1000 places and entry on the day is not available. Entry fees are listed as £23.00 for unaffiliated runners and £21.00 for affiliated runners. Finishers receive a medal; a t-shirt is offered to finishers who sign up before 23rd April 2027. Chip timing and water are included in the entry fee.
Race facilities at the event include distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers, and no baggage storage. The race headquarters is Chantry Hall in Bedale.
