Bedale 10K - The Bedale Bolt

The Bedale Bolt is the first edition of an undulating 10 km road race in Bedale, North Yorkshire, organised by Bedale and Aiskew Runners on Sunday 14 June 2026. The single lap course begins along the high street, goes out into country lanes with a hill or two, then returns to the town centre for a fast finish along the high street with supporters lining the route.

The race is held on closed roads and will be chip timed. The course is being measured by England Athletics and the event has an entry limit of 1000 places. The listed race licence is TBA and the course is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Entry fees differ by affiliation level, with an affiliated entry fee of £20.00 and an unaffiliated fee of £22.00. T shirts are included in the entry fee and entrants can choose a size; selecting no t shirt results in an additional donation to the chosen charity. A donation will be made to Yorkshire Air Ambulance for each entry.

Facilities at the race headquarters, Chantry Hall, Bedale DL8 1AB, include water, distance markers and toilets. There are no changing facilities, no showers and no baggage storage. All finishers receive medals and there are prizes for overall men and women plus age category prizes. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
