Beaverton Half Marathon
The Beaverton Half Marathon is a road and trail event presented by NIKE with three distances: half marathon, 10K and 5K. The event starts and finishes on SW Gemini and SW Nimbus Avenue near Portland Running Company in Beaverton. The course uses significant stretches of Fanno Creek Path; the half marathon and 10K share the first 6.21 miles. Half marathoners run two loops, with the finish line located at the start/finish area. The 5K is an out-and-back course that crosses Hall Boulevard and includes a turn-around on Fanno Creek.
Packet pick up is available the day before at Portland Running Company in Beaverton and on race morning at the start/finish area. Gear check is provided near the start/finish area. Parking is free in the surrounding business park; volunteers direct parking and Portland Running Company is not available for parking.
Walkers are welcome. There is an untimed early walk start for half marathoners who expect to maintain no faster than 15:00 minute miles (4 mph); walkers must follow all rules of the road and stay two abreast and to the right on Fanno Creek Path.
