Beaverton Half Marathon & 10K/5K
The Beaverton Half Marathon takes place in Beaverton, Oregon, starting and finishing at the Portland Running Company location on SW Gemini and SW Nimbus Ave. The event features multiple distance options:
- Half Marathon
- 10 km
- 5 km
The course utilizes the Fanno Creek Path and local roads including SW Creekside and SW Stratus. The 5 km route is an out-and-back course that crosses Hall Blvd and turns around on Fanno Creek. The 10 km and Half Marathon share the first 6.21 miles of the route. To complete the full distance, Half Marathon participants return to the start and finish line area before heading out for a second loop.
Walkers are permitted in all races, with the course remaining open for four hours. An early start option is available specifically for Half Marathon participants who expect to maintain a pace of 15:00 minutes per mile. Due to narrow sections on the trail and bike paths, strollers and dogs are not permitted on the course.
Participants receive a technical race tee, a commemorative medal, and a pint glass for use at the post-race party. The finish area features music, food, and a beer garden. Awards include ribbons for the top three finishers in age groups ranging from 14 and under to 80 and over. Free parking is provided in the surrounding business park, though parking is not permitted directly at the Portland Running Company building.
