Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 24th Annual Race Event
The Beaver Volunteer Fire Department presents a multi-event community race in Beaver, Pennsylvania, held at 165 Market Street. The event includes a 10K, a 5K with an optional team competition, and a Toddler Trot for preschool children. The race course passes through historic neighborhoods and includes a section overlooking the Ohio River. Intersections are staffed by police, firefighters, and community volunteers for participant safety, and dogs are not permitted.
Chip timing is provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. Packet pick-up is available the day before the event and on race day at the fire department location. Registration windows vary by event; some entries close in late February, while the toddler trot accepts registrations through race day. Listed registration fees include $25 for the 10K, $20 for the 5K, $30 for the 10K and 5K bundle, and $10 for the toddler trot. Adult or youth shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by May 10.
Awards include trophies for top overall finishers and masters, medals for top three in each age group, and medals for all children 12 and under. Walkers are timed as part of the 5K and are eligible for 5K age group awards. In the event of dangerous weather the race may be delayed but is planned to occur that day; no refunds are issued.
