24th Annual Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race and Toddler Trot
The event marks the 24th running of the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department 5K/10K Race, held in Beaver, Pennsylvania. It is described as the longest continual and most attended organized race in Beaver County and is co-sponsored by Heritage Valley Health Systems for more than 20 years. The event uses a scenic route through historic, tree-lined neighborhoods; a long stretch of the course overlooks the Ohio River. Beaver is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is recognized as a Tree City USA.

Intersections along the course are manned by police, fire fighters, and community volunteers for participant safety. Dogs are not permitted on the course. Chip timing service is provided by Miles of Smiles Timing Services. Registration and packet pick-up are available the day before the race and on race morning at the Beaver Volunteer Fire Department, 165 Market Street, Beaver, PA 15009. Water and fruit are provided at the finish and additional food vendors are scheduled. Awards include trophies for top three overall men and women and Masters 40+ plus medals for top three in each age group; all children 12 and under receive medals.
