The Beaufort Historic Rotary Road Race takes place on June 13, 2026 in Beaufort, NC. The event starts and finishes at 411 Front Street in front of The Vault, Beaufort, NC 28516. The race offers the following distances:
- 1 Mile Run & Walk
- 5K Run & Walk
- 10K Run
Proceeds will benefit Rotary International's Polio Plus mission, the Carteret Community College Foundation Scholarship Program, and the Boys & Girls Club of Beaufort, NC. Wheelchair and baby jogger participants are welcome. Pets are allowed on leashes or in strollers.
Logistics and awards
Online registration opens January 4, 2026. T-shirt orders have a deadline of May 14, 2026. Registration is online only for the listed events and registration fees are non-refundable. The Town of Beaufort offers free public parking on race morning until 10:30 a.m. Pre-registered participants may pick up packets on Friday, June 12 at the Train Depot, 614 Broad St, Beaufort. Race day packet pickup is on-site at The Vault parking lot.
The event is timed by Run The East using disposable bib tags; participants must wear their race bibs and avoid bending the timing chip. Awards include medallions for top overall and masters finishers, age-group awards in each distance, top wheelchair and baby jogger finishers, and recognitions for the oldest and youngest finishers.
