Beaton Classic 2026 : Moonlight Beach, Sudbury
The Beaton Classic takes place on August 9, 2026 at Moonlight Beach, Greater Sudbury, ON, Canada. The event is a multisport competition made up of open water swim, cycling, solo canoe and running stages. It can be completed solo or by teams of two or four.
The main race distances are:
- 1 km open water swim
- 24 km cycle
- 4 km solo canoe paddle
- 7.5 km run
Categories include SOLO (women and men), PAIRS (women, men, co-ed) and FOURS (women, men, co-ed; co-ed requires at least two women). Registration prices vary by period and include early bird, regular and late registration options.
A Dairy Queen Kids Triathlon follows the main event. Distances are a 150 m swim, 5 km mountain bike and 1 km run, with two age groups: 10 and under, and 12 and under. T-shirts for the kids event are not included in registration and are available for purchase.
