Beara Way Ultra
The Beara Way Ultra is an extreme running event taking place in County Cork, featuring a challenging 161 km course with a total ascent of 5500 meters. Set to start and finish in Castletownbere, the race has a 37-hour limit for completion. Participants must carry mandatory gear, including a waterproof jacket, mobile phone, and emergency supplies.
The route is fully marked and includes several aid stations stocked with refreshments. Runners can have support crews at main aid stations and are allowed to change support runners during the race.
