Beara AC Autumn 5 Mile Series 2026
The Beara AC Autumn 5 Mile Series is a four-race running series held across the Beara Peninsula in County Cork during September, October and November 2026. The series uses four distinct locations: Glengarriff, Allihies, Bere Island and Eyeries, with one 5 mile race at each venue on separate weekends through the autumn months.
The event has an approved permit, cert.no: 26/447. The final race in Eyeries will be chip timed by Pop-Up Races and offers a team entry option; team entrants must be fully paid 2026 Athletic Ireland affiliated club members and must wear their club singlet on race day. Runners aged under 16 may run only when accompanied by a parent or guardian, and entry for under 16s is free. There is also an FJ and MJ category for 16 to 18 year olds.
The series is organised by Beara A.C. and spreads races across different local venues to provide varied running locations within the peninsula.
