Beara AC Autumn 5 Mile Series 2026
The Beara A.C. Autumn 5 Mile Series comprises four road races of 5 mile each held across the Beara Peninsula in West Cork during September, October and into November. The series is organised by Beara A.C. and the event permit is pending approval.
Races take place at four locations: Glengarriff, Allihies, Bere Island and Eyeries. Glengarriff is associated with Glengarriff National Park, Allihies is noted as the furthest parish from Dublin, Bere Island is described as a parkrun destination, and Eyeries is described as an award-winning village. Dates for each race are listed in September, October and November.
The final race in Eyeries will be chip timed by Pop-Up Races. Eyeries also includes a team entry option; individual team entrants must be fully paid 2026 Athletic Ireland affiliated club members and teams are required to wear club singlets on race day.
Age categories include FJ and MJ for competitors aged 16 to 18. Under 16s may run when accompanied by a parent or guardian and entry for those under 16 is free. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
