About the race
Beacons Way Ultra 100 Mile is a rugged ultra race across the Brecon Beacons National Park in Wales. Starting from Abergavenny Castle, the route follows the Beacons Way for about 100 miles with around 6,143 metres of ascent and 250 entrants. Runners tackle ten checkpoints, iconic peaks including Pen-y-Fan and Carmarthen Fans, and navigate mountain terrain using map and compass.
The event offers live GPS tracking, UTMB Performance Index points and ITRA points, and a choice of transport back to the start. Finishing at Llangadog RFC, participants earn Gold/Silver/Bronze buckles for top finishes. Entry fee and other details apply online. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
