Beach2Beach 2026

Beach2Beach is a community charity running event held on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, Australia. The 2026 edition takes place on 23 August 2026 and continues an event series that has run since 1994.

The event features multiple course distances that run along coastal routes linking a number of beaches. Some courses pass around Dee Why Lagoon and along Turimetta Headland. The 6km Warriewood course specifies no sand running. The event concludes at Newport Beach with a family friendly Finish Festival.

Distances and typical start locations:

  • Half Marathon (16+) - Start Dee Why, finish Newport Beach.
  • 14 km - Start Dee Why, loop Dee Why Lagoon, finish Newport Beach.
  • 6 km - Start Warriewood (Rat Park) - finish Newport Beach.
  • 3 km - Start Mona Vale, finish Newport Beach.

Registration categories include adult, junior (10-17) and kids (under 10) entries, with pricing that varies by registration period. Super Early Bird registrations are noted in the event information and optional free race bib postage is available in January only.
