Beach2Beach 2026

Beach2Beach 2026 is a community charity running event on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, held annually and running since 1994. The event offers multiple course options that run along coastal roads and parkland and finish at Newport Beach where a family friendly Finish Festival takes place.

Distances include:

  • Half Marathon
  • 14 km
  • 6 km
  • 3 km

Course and start details vary by distance. The Half Marathon and the 14 km both start at Dee Why, with the 14 km routed around Dee Why Lagoon and then along the coastline to Newport Beach. The 6 km starts at Warriewood Rat Park, travels past Turimetta Headland and follows the coast to the finish with no sand running. The 3 km starts at Mona Vale and joins other runners at Apex Park before continuing to Newport Beach.

All proceeds from the event support local charitable organisations. The event includes separate age categories for some distances and a Finish Festival at Newport Beach that is described as family friendly. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
