Beach2Beach 2026
Beach2Beach is a community running event along Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Running since 1994, the event stages multiple course options that link beaches and coastal parks in the Dee Why, Warriewood, Mona Vale and Newport Beach area.
All proceeds from the event are directed to local charitable organisations. The event includes a family-friendly Finish Festival at Newport Beach and course routes that feature coastal views and park sections; some courses avoid sand running.
Distances offered include:
- Half Marathon (16+) start Dee Why finish Newport Beach
- 14 km (adult, youth, child) start Dee Why finish Newport Beach
- 6 km (adult, junior, kids) start Warriewood finish Newport Beach
- 3 km (adult, junior, kids) start Mona Vale finish Newport Beach
Entry categories are split by age for several distances, with separate pricing tiers shown for early bird, standard, and late registration. The 14 km course passes around Dee Why Lagoon and follows the coastline with views of multiple beaches. The 6 km course starts at Rat Park in Warriewood and follows the coast up to Turimetta Headland, with no sand running on that course.
Event information and participant resources such as FAQs, team entries and a race store are provided by the organisers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
