BEach WELLness

BEach WELLness is a community fundraiser held at Bay City State Park in Bay City, MI. The event offers multiple participation options for running and walking, including:

• 10k Run
• 5k Run
• 5k Walk
• 5k Walk with pets

The registration fee includes a BEach WELLness towel for each paying participant in lieu of a race shirt. The route passes through several areas of the park. A large portion of the course is paved and there is a loop of trail that runs through Tobico Marsh. The route is marked with chalk, arrows, and event personnel. The event is described as family and pet friendly.

The event is organized by Friends of Bay City State Park, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Proceeds are used to support community and individual wellness through enhancements and maintenance of the shoreline and surrounding natural areas within Bay City State Park. As a fundraiser for the nonprofit, refunds are not available. Results can be posted automatically on race day for participants who connect a Twitter account.
