Event Overview
The Beach to Behr Brewing 10K takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026, in Cape May, New Jersey. The event has a minimum pace requirement: all runners must maintain a 16-minute-per-mile pace. Participation is open to individuals aged 21 and over.
Course & Logistics
The 10 km point-to-point course starts on Beach Avenue, between Grant Street and Patterson Avenue. The finish line is at Behr Brewing, located at 513 Seashore Road. No shuttle service is provided between the finish area and the start line; participants and spectators are encouraged to use ride-sharing services, taxis, or similar transportation.
Packet pickup is available on Friday, September 25, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Behr Brewing. A second pickup option is on race morning from 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM at 238 Beach Avenue (the Lifeguard Headquarters).
Participant Perks & Awards
Registered runners receive a race shirt and a finisher pint glass. All finishers also get a ticket for one free beer at the post-race party. Awards are presented to the top three overall male and female finishers, the first-place male and female masters runners, and the top three male and female finishers in standard age groups from 21-29 up to 70+.
Hydration & Sustainability
There are self-serve water fill stations at the 2-mile and 4-mile marks. The event has a "bring your own" hydration policy; cups are not provided. Runners must carry their own bottle, reusable cup, or hydration vest to use at the fill stations. The organization emphasizes sustainability, noting this policy helps reduce waste.
