Beach to Beach 5K Run
The Beach to Beach 5K Run takes place in Stuart, Florida, and offers an in-person point to point 5K and a virtual 5K option. The in-person finish is at the Stuart Beach public beach parking lot behind the Elliott Museum. Participants are bused north to the start at the Jensen Beach public beach parking lot and run south along Highway A1A back to the finish.
The course is described as flat, includes three left-hand turns, and follows a roughly three mile straightaway along the ocean edge. Race services include chip timing from start to finish, two on-course water stops, post-race refreshments, finisher awards, age group awards every five years from 10 and Under to 80 and Over, and a selection of raffle prizes. Quality cotton/poly blend t-shirts are provided to entrants who register by August 15. The in-person race has a cap of 300 runners.
A team competition is part of the event. Teams consist of 5 to 10 runners; team scoring uses the top five overall places from each team, and ties are broken by the sixth runner's place. The event is included in a three-race Summer Sizzler series alongside the Summer Solstice 5K and the Downtown Dash 5K.
