BE THE LIGHT 5K RUN/WALK for NICU families
The event takes place on September 12, 2026 at the CHRISTUS St. Michael Health System campus, 2600 St. Michael Dr., Texarkana, TX. It is organized by Fearfully and Wonderfully Made to coincide with NICU awareness month in September and to support families affected by neonatal intensive care.
The program includes a timed 5K run/walk and a separate lantern and candle release later the same evening. Strollers are welcome with mindfulness of other participants. Pets are not allowed. There is a child accompaniment option for children under 12 to walk or ride in a stroller with an adult at no cost; a waiver is required for each child and that option does not include an event t shirt.

Fees and registration windows provided by the organizer include a standard fee of $35 for the main 5K, a free child option, a free lantern release option, and an All Tucked In support option priced at $20 that does not include a t shirt or participation medal.
