Be the Light 5K & Walk, Goodlettsville

Proceeds from the first year will benefit a scholarship fund that provides financial assistance to high school seniors who exemplify the honoree's qualities. In subsequent years, proceeds are planned to support Goodlettsville and Sumner County charities including Grace Place and an orphanage in Ensenada, Mexico.

Registration pricing is tiered: $35 through July 4 plus processing fees, increasing to $45 on July 5 plus processing fees. Participants aged 17 and under receive a $10 discount. Race t-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after July 23. Prizes will be awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers in the 5K.

Event policies and logistics include a request that participants using strollers line up toward the back, no dogs on the course, and that parking follow posted park signage. The event will be held rain or shine and all registrations are final.
