Bayou Side Run

The Bayou Side Run takes place on Saturday, May 2, 2026. It offers a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk and a 5K Run/Walk. Both events start at Bouligny Plaza on 128 W. Main St in New Iberia, Louisiana.

Registration includes entry, a t-shirt, and a finisher medal. Chip timing will be used for the race. Early registration is $30 per event. Late registration from April 12 to May 1 is $35, and race-day registration from 6:30 AM to 7:30 AM is $35 cash only. Teams of 10 or more receive discounted rates.

The event raises funds for the Iberia Mental Health Initiative, a community coalition focused on mental health awareness. Awards are given for the 5K only, including top overall male and female, age group winners, and a prize for the largest team. Packet pickup details will be announced later.
