Bay2Bay Coastal Run 2027
The Bay2Bay Coastal Run is a point-to-point trail run located in Northumberland. The course covers approximately 10 miles and follows the Northumbrian coastline. Participants start at Druridge Bay Country Park and travel along a route consisting of beaches, cliff paths, and established trails. The run concludes in Newbiggin-by-the-Sea.
The event offers two registration categories for the same distance:
- 10 Miles (standard entry)
- 10 Mile Canicross (runners with one controlled dog)
As this is a point-to-point race, participants must arrange their own transport to the start or book a shuttle bus during the registration process. There are no shuttle buses provided after the event finishes. A bag drop service is available at the registration area for all competitors.
The route is fully marked and supported by marshals. Participants have access to an aid station located along the course. The minimum age for entry is 17 years old on the day of the event. All participants receive a finisher's medal and finish line merchandise. Results are tracked using live chip timing, and event photos are available for free download after the completion of the run.
