About the race
The Bay View Women's Run is held in Mount Vernon, Washington on May 15, 2027. The event marks the 40th edition and is presented as a community tradition that supports survivors and strengthens access to local services.
Three course options are offered:
- 2 Mile: run or walk, entirely on paved roads.
- 5K: run, entirely on paved roads.
- 10K: mixed terrain, nearly half on flat packed gravel waterfront trail.
The 10K route follows a waterfront trail for a substantial portion, while the shorter routes remain on paved roads. The race is managed by Skagit Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services and supported by Skagit Runners - Run the Valley.
Registration opens July 3, 2026 and closes January 1, 2027. Listed registration fees are $25 for the 2 Mile and 5K, and $35 for the 10K. Early bird discounts are noted in the event information.
Volunteers are needed and volunteer shifts and times are being updated regularly. Route map and parking details are listed as coming soon. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
