Event Format
The Bay Saint Louis Run+SUP is a multi-sport event. It combines a 5K run with a 1-mile stand-up paddleboard (SUP) race. Participants can enter in three categories.
- Run+SUP: A solo event where one person completes both the run and the paddle.
- Relay: A two-person team event where one person runs and the other paddles.
- 5k only: A standalone running event.
The run is an out-and-back route on the beach sidewalk. The paddle course goes out and then south, parallel to the shoreline, before returning. The event uses chip timing and features a continuous transition from the run to the paddle segment.
Participants must bring their own paddleboard. A rental service, Sip Paddle Rental, can be contacted in advance for board delivery to the start.
Location and Logistics
The event takes place at the Washington Street Pavilion on South Beach Blvd in Bay Saint Louis, Mississippi. Packet pickup is available on the day before the race at TBT Depot Backyard Beer Garden and on the morning of the event at the start location.
