Bay City Memorial Run Events, 21 May 2026
The event takes place at Veterans Memorial Park on John F Kennedy Drive in Bay City, Michigan. Proceeds and portions of merchandise sales support Blue Star Service Dogs and Bay Veterans Foundation. Capacity is limited to 200 and the in-person races use a rolling start. The event is open to runners, walkers, and ruckers.

- 5K in-person
- 10K in-person
- 15K in-person
- 5K virtual option
Entry pricing details are published by the organizer. Participants receive a personalized dog tag and may opt to purchase a floppy hat with embroidered details; hat sizes accommodate head circumferences roughly 22 inches 56 cm to 24 5/8 inches 63 cm. At least $5 of every purchase is directed to the two beneficiary organizations. A donation box is available and donations to the listed charities are applied to program support rather than overhead.
Race format and traditions are emphasized over individual results. The 5K follows marked course directions with the current leader carrying the American flag so the flag crosses the finish first; there will be one standard bearer acknowledged for male participants and one for female participants. The longer course includes periodic group exercises roughly every 1.5 to 2 kilometers; teamwork to protect the flag is encouraged.
