Battle of Bunker Hill 5K Road Race

The Battle of Bunker Hill 5K Road Race is a historic running event located in Charlestown, Massachusetts. The race follows a scenic route through local streets and hills, passing several significant historical landmarks. Participants run by the Charlestown Training Field, St. Mary’s Church, the Freedom Trail, and the Bunker Hill Monument. Both the start and finish lines are situated at the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club building on High Street.

The event includes the John McGee Team Challenge, a competitive category named in memory of a former board member. The race is limited to 1,000 registered participants, and shirts are provided for all those who register. For safety and course management reasons, the organizers do not allow dogs or strollers during the race.

Participants can collect their bibs and race shirts at the High Street building during designated times on the Friday and Saturday preceding the event, or on the morning of the race inside the club gymnasium.
