Battle of Bunker Hill 5K Road Race : Charlestown Boys & Girls Club
The Charlestown Boys & Girls Club hosts the Battle of Bunker Hill 5K Road Race in Charlestown, MA on Sunday, June 14, 2026. The event raises support for the Club and its members and uses the Club’s building at 60 High Street as the start and finish location.
The course is a 5k historic route that runs through the hills and streets of Charlestown. The route passes several local historic sites, including the Charlestown Training Field, St. Mary’s Church, the Freedom Trail and the Bunker Hill Monument. The organizer notes the course is scenic and challenging.
The event includes a team competition named in memory of a longtime board member and restaurateur. Shirts are available for up to 1,000 registered participants and the organizer advises that the race will sell out. Registration opens May 1, 2026, and the listed entry fee for the 5K event is $40.
BIB and shirt pickup is scheduled at the Charlestown Boys & Girls Club (High Street Building) on Friday, June 12 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, June 13 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and the morning of the race starting at 9:00 AM. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
