About the race
Battle Cancer Miami takes place on 8 November 2026 at loanDepot Park West Plaza in Miami, FL. The event uses the Hybrid 3|20 format, an individual and pairs fitness challenge that combines functional stations with a final run.
Hybrid 3|20 features three zones and nine stations with short, intense work periods followed by brief recovery. Each station runs as three minutes of maximum reps followed by two minutes of rest, and the sequence finishes with a 20 minute maximum-distance run. Athletes can enter individually or in pairs and choose between two divisions: Challenge, which allows modified movements, and Compete, which does not allow modifications.
Scoring includes performance across the nine stations, the final run distance, and fundraising contributions; every rep and every metre affect the leaderboard. Fundraising is optional but encouraged, with a suggested minimum of $50 per athlete. Official partner charities include The Battle Cancer Program and DCC, and the event also supports Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.
