Batsto Village 5K
The Batsto Village 5K is a featured event within the RevolutionNJ Race Series, taking place in Hammonton, New Jersey. This series is organized by RevolutionNJ, the official organization responsible for planning the 250th-anniversary commemoration of the founding of the United States. The race route passes through the Batsto Village, which is a nationally recognized historic site.
Established to honor regional history, the race series draws inspiration from Jonas Cattell’s run to warn American troops of a British attack. The event at Batsto Village is one of six races in the series, alongside other historic locations such as Cedar Bridge Tavern, Red Bank Battlefield, Fort Lee Historic Park, Monmouth Battlefield, and Princeton Battlefield.
The following events are available for participants:
- 5K
- 1 Mile Walk
The event focuses on blending fitness, history, and community celebration as part of the broader statewide commemoration of American history. Participants have the choice of running the 5K distance or taking part in a 1-mile walk. Timing and event management services are provided by TNT Event Management. Registration for the events is open until the day before the race, with on-site registration options also available on the morning of the event.
