Event overview
The Pineland Striders Boxing Day event is scheduled for Friday, December 26, 2025 in Voorhees, NJ at 33 Signal Hill Drive. The event includes the following distances:
- 5K
- Kids' Fun Run
The 5K is USATF-sanctioned and chip-timed. Entry fee for the 5K is $26; the Kids' Fun Run is free. The 5K price increases after December 2, 2025. Each pre-registered 5K participant will receive a pair of rechargeable electric hand warmers that double as USB power banks. Proceeds will be donated to Randall's Rescue. The organizers will accept donated goods including canned cat food, dry cat food, laundry essentials, and clumping kitty litter.
Course, logistics and awards
The 5K uses residential roads around Signal Hill Elementary School. Roads will remain open to traffic. The course includes a short off-road section across a flat grass field. The route will be marked with cones and chalk arrows and volunteers will be positioned at tricky turns. There will be no on-course hydration; participants should plan accordingly. Strollers are allowed; dogs are not permitted due to USATF rules. The event has about a 90-minute time cutoff. Warm beverages and snacks will be provided after the race. Awards are given to first place male, female, and non-binary finishers and to the top three male, female, and non-binary finishers in multiple age groups. Volunteers receive a race premium.
