About the race
The Rudy Project Tomakin Triathlon takes place in Tomakin, NSW on Saturday 6 February 2027. The event offers multiple race options over swim, bike and run formats on a course set around the Tomaga River and the township of Tomakin.
The course features a calm, wind-protected swim in the Tomaga River, a flat bike route along George Bass Drive, and a pancake-flat run through the heart of Tomakin. Race-day activities include an evening presentation at Club Tomakin with awards, karaoke and community socialising.
Race distance options:
- Super-Sprint: 250m swim / 10km bike / 2km run
- Sprint: 650m swim / 20km bike / 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim / 40km bike / 10km run
- Standard Aquabike: 1500m swim / 40km bike

Suggested weekend activities in the locality include paddling or fishing on the Tomaga River, swimming at Tomakin Cove, visiting the Rivermouth General Store, or playing lawn bowls at the Tomakin Sports & Social Club.
