Rudy Project Tomakin Triathlon : Tomakin, NSW, Saturday 6 February 2027
The Rudy Project Tomakin Triathlon takes place in Tomakin on the NSW South Coast. The event uses a calm, wind-protected swim in the Tomaga River, a flat bike route along George Bass Drive, and a pancake-flat run through the heart of Tomakin. The course layout is described as fast and protected, suitable for a range of competitors from first-time triathletes to seasoned endurance athletes.
An evening presentation at Club Tomakin follows race day, including awards, karaoke and a community gathering. The location offers coastal activities for visitors such as paddling or fishing in the Tomaga River, swimming at Tomakin Cove, visiting the Rivermouth General Store, or playing lawn bowls at the Tomakin Sports and Social Club.
Race options and distances:
- Super Sprint: 250m swim, 10km bike, 2km run
- Sprint: 650m swim, 20km bike, 5km run
- Standard: 1500m swim, 40km bike, 10km run
- Standard Aquabike: 1500m swim, 40km bike (no run)
