Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The Basingstoke Half Marathon, 10k, and 5k is a community-focused running event held in Hampshire. The races take place on closed, traffic-free roads and are characterized by a festival atmosphere. The event incorporates several distances to accommodate different participants:

The Half Marathon course includes hills near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop, leading through countryside and local villages. The 10 km route was modified in 2023 to assist runners in achieving faster times. The 5 km distance follows a scenic path to a turning point on Farleigh Road before returning to the finish line.
For younger participants, a free 1 mile race is available for children aged 5-10. This race utilizes the official start and finish points of the main event, and participants receive a medal upon completion. The 5 km event is open to runners aged 11 and over.
