Event overview
The Destination Basingstoke Phillips Law Half Marathon is organised by Destination Basingstoke and sponsored by Phillips Law. The event includes multiple races and takes place in Basingstoke; the 2026 event is scheduled for Sunday, 4 October. The race uses traffic-free roads and aims to create a community festival atmosphere. In 2025 the event had over 1,700 runners and used separate start times for the Half Marathon and the 10k.

The course runs through countryside and villages and includes hills near Cliddesden and Farleigh Wallop. The 10k route was changed in 2023 to allow faster times. The 5k follows the same scenic corridor as the longer races, with a turning point on Farleigh Road before returning to the finish. The 5k is open to runners aged 11 and over.
