Basildon Half Marathon and Juniors Presented by Utilize
Basildon Half Marathon and Juniors takes place on 13 September 2026 and supports Changing Pathways. The event starts and finishes at Basildon Sporting Village and uses closed roads through the town for the half marathon, with a junior race held on the track.
The half marathon is a single loop course while the junior race consists of two laps of the track. Road closures impose a three hour cut off for the half marathon. Each kilometre on the course is marked with distance flags and marshals are positioned along the route to guide and cheer participants.
Race entry notes include minimum age limits: entrants must be at least 17 years old for the half marathon, and junior competitors are for ages up to 11 years. An event village is provided with food and drink options and finish line partners supply free post race items. Event t shirts with the event logo are available at a discounted rate when purchased as part of entry, supplied in partnership with RT Kit.
