Memorial walk/run in Millbrook to benefit Angels of Light
This memorial walk/run takes place in the Village of Millbrook and routes head out to the new Bennett Park. The event is organized as a fundraiser; all race proceeds are donated to Angels of Light (501c3), whose mission is to assist children and families in the Hudson Valley with life threatening illnesses. A banner photo from a prior year shows the person being remembered volunteering at Tymor Park.
The program includes in-person and virtual options. Virtual participants register, complete their chosen distance on their own between April 11 and April 18, submit results, and receive the event giveaway; there are no awards for virtual entries. Results for the in-person events will be streamed live on Chronotrack.

Entry details note that preregistered kids races are free, the 2 mile walk and 5k run have a preregistration fee with a higher race day fee, and there is a fixed family price for groups of four or more. All registered participants receive a blender bottle. The event also lists several donation options such as in honor or memory signs, mile markers, water stations, and finish line sponsorships.
