MHRRC Barri Donnellan Memorial Walk/Run
The MHRRC Barri Donnellan Memorial Walk/Run is a community event held in Millbrook, New York. Organised to celebrate the life of Barri Donnellan, the event serves as a fundraiser with all proceeds donated to Angels of Light. This organization provides assistance to children and families in the Hudson Valley who are living with life-threatening illnesses. The race takes place within the Village of Millbrook and extends to the grounds of Bennett Park.
Participants can choose from a variety of event formats:
- 5k Run
- 2 mile Walk
- Kid's 1/2 mile Fun Run
- 5k VIRTUAL
- 2 mile Walk VIRTUAL
The Kid's 1/2 mile Fun Run is open to participants aged 1 to 12. Registration for this specific event is free for those who pre-register. For the standard distances, a fixed family price is available for households with four or more members, and Mid-Hudson Road Runners Club members receive a discount at checkout. Participants who register by April 10th are guaranteed an event t-shirt.
A virtual participation option is available for those unable to attend in person. Virtual entrants complete their chosen distance independently between April 11 and April 18. While virtual participants receive an event giveaway upon submitting their results, they are not eligible for awards. For the in-person event, results are streamed live via Chronotrack, and participants may opt-in for athlete updates via text message.
