Barney's Run for Warriors - 14th Annual
Barney's Run for Warriors is a charity running event in Albany, Georgia that supports K9s for Warriors. Proceeds from the event purchase trained service dogs for area veterans. Most dogs trained by the partner organization are rescued from shelters.
The event features multiple race options:

- 1 mile fun run/walk
The half marathon, 10K, and 5K courses are USATF certified. Cash prizes are offered for overall female and male winners in the half marathon, 10K, and 5K. Participants may run with a dog in the 1 mile, 5K, or 10K.
Courses run on nearly flat, paved, and well marked streets through Albany neighborhoods. The event provides water stations, pit stops, race shirts, and swag bags.
