Barn Burner 5K & 10K
The Barn Burner is a training-focused road race held on July 25, 2026, at the Nakashima Heritage Barn north trailhead on the Centennial Trail in Arlington, WA. The event offers chip-to-chip timing and a mostly flat, paved course intended for consistent pacing and performance benchmarking.

All registered participants receive chip-timed results and finisher medals. Light post-race refreshments are provided and participants are noted to receive a popsicle after the event. Top overall male, female, and top kid finishers receive awards. All entries are entered into three raffle drawings for a free entry into a future LeeD Ventures Running event. Registrations are non-refundable.
The race presents prior benchmark times from 2025, including a 5K first place time of 21:47 and a 10K first place time of 43:58. Participants range from experienced runners to first-time racers and families with young participants, making the field mixed in experience and pace. The setting at the historic Nakashima Heritage Barn and the paved trail surface are emphasized as features for accurate time tracking and training assessment.
