Bark in the Park - Eureka, CA
Bark in the Park is the tenth annual community 5K held on October 17, 2026 at Sequoia Park, 3414 W St, Eureka, CA 95503. The event is listed as a 5K in the Individual age group/open category with an entry price shown as $20. Humboldt Bay Fire Local 652 collects race proceeds and donates them to an animal charity. For 2026 the recipient is the Sequoia Humane Society, whose mission includes promoting the humane treatment of animals, ending pet overpopulation, and providing care through pet adoption, spay and neuter programs, and community education.
The route consists of loops through Sequoia Park and passes through the park’s redwood landscape. Dogs may run with their owners. Post-race activities include a raffle and opportunities to adopt dogs.
