BARC Big Race 10 Miler : Bay City, MI (Aug 16, 2026)
BARC presents an event with three separate competitions held near Coryell Field (514 Morton St., Bay City, MI). The event includes a 10 Mile Run, a 5K Walk, and a 2 Mile Run, and total participants are capped at 200.
The 10 Mile course follows the Great Lakes Bay Regional Trail through Bay City and the Frankenlust and Zilwaukee townships as a down-and-back route. The 10 Mile Run is for runners only. Port-a-johns will be stationed at the start area. Surrounding parking is limited and alternative parking separate from the event venue may be required.
Entry fees are non-refundable and vary by registration period. Fee tiers apply before July 30, between July 30 and August 14, and on race day. Online registration closes on August 15; race day registration and packet pickup take place at Coryell Field.
A brief awards ceremony follows the events. Awards for the 10 Mile Run include First, Second, Third overall; Masters (40+), Grand Masters (60+); and first and second in each age group. The 2 Mile Run has overall awards and first and second in age groups. The 5K Walk recognizes the top five finishers in male and female divisions.
Proceeds from the event benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Bay City. Animals and wheeled devices such as rollerskates, bicycles, and skateboards are not allowed. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
