Barber Classic / Jeep Davis 5K and Fun Run
This community running event takes place at the Barber Anna Dean Piggery in Barberton, Ohio on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The venue address is 248 Robinson Ave, Barberton, OH 44203.
Distances:
- 5K race - $30 entry fee
- Fun Run (1/2 mile) - $15 entry fee
Packet pickup is available Friday, September 18 from 4:30 to 7:00 PM and Saturday, September 19 from 7:15 to 7:55 AM. All participants receive a T-shirt, free water, salty snacks, auction tickets, and donuts. Additional refreshments are provided free of charge.
Prizes include a small cash award for the top three overall male and female finishers and medals for nine age groups: 10 and under; 11-15; 16-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; and 70 and over.
The course starts at the Anna Dean Piggery and runs down to the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath in an out-and-back layout. The towpath section is flat. The Fun Run is open to all ages; dogs must be on a leash. Walkers and strollers are welcome; bicycles are not permitted.
On site there are pictures of Barber's Anna Dean Farm, Jeep Davis memorabilia, and a mini-silent auction inside the Piggery. The Barberton Historical Society will be present with historical displays provided free of charge. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
