Bangor City 10K & Half Marathon
The event offers two measured road races that start and finish in the city centre of Bangor, Gwynedd. The courses run out to the coastline and include a section along Garth Pier over the Menai Straits, with views of Anglesey, Snowdonia and the surrounding North Wales coastline, then continue onto woodland paths noted for autumn colours before returning to the city centre finish.

Race information notes pick up of numbers and timing chips at race HQ next to the Deiniol Shopping Centre. There is no official event parking; street and town centre pay and display parking must be used. Drink stations are provided at approximately every 3 miles and at the finish; runners who need extra fluid are advised to carry their own bottle. Toilets and changing facilities are located near the start and finish at the Bangor bus station, and a city centre swimming pool is available for showers for a charge.
A technical T-shirt and a bespoke medal are provided to all finishers. Prizes are awarded for first, second and third male and female overall and for first in each age category, with presentations made after each race. First aid cover is provided on course and at start and finish. Headphones are not permitted except bone-conducting types under UK Athletics rules.
