About the race
The Bandit Ultra Trail is a trail running event in Simi Valley, Los Angeles, held at Corriganville Park (7001 Smith Road). The event offers three course distances and runs through local mountain terrain including Rocky Peak, Las Lljas, and Tapo Canyon.
The course passes through Corriganville Park, a site used as a movie ranch, and features sandstone boulders, rock outcroppings, oak savannah, and perennial water sources. The route includes sections with climbs and places that provide views of both mountains and ocean. The 50K course includes aid stations at mile markers 5.6, 9.0, 14.3, 19.5, and 25.5. All distances share a common race cutoff that participants must meet.
A portion of event proceeds will be donated to the Challenged Athletes Foundation. Local businesses and organizations involved include a run shop sponsor, a clothing sponsor providing tank shirts and award prizes, and a provider of post-race sports massage. Course maps and volunteer opportunities are listed as part of the event materials.
