Bandit Ultra Trail : Simi Valley, California
Bandit Ultra Trail is a trail running event held at Corriganville Park in Simi Valley, California. The event offers multiple distances over natural singletrack and fire roads that traverse Rocky Peak, Las Llajas, and Tapo Canyon.
The course runs through a former movie ranch and filming location, and features sandstone boulders, rock outcroppings, oak savannahs, and perennial water sources. The route provides varied terrain and habitat used by local bird, mammal, and reptile species. Course maps and aid stations are provided along the routes; aid stations are located at known mile markers including Chumash and MarrLand sections and Tapo.
Supporters and event partners include the Challenged Athletes Foundation, which will receive a portion of proceeds, local run shop On-Track Running, apparel provider Rabbit supplying tank shirts and awards, and Vision For Enrichment offering post-race sports massage. Volunteers are used to support the event, and information on course maps and volunteer opportunities is made available by the organizer.
