Band On The Run 5k - Richmond
The Band On The Run 5k is a fundraising event organized to support the Madison Central Marching Band in Richmond, Kentucky. The event takes place at White Hall Park, utilizing a paved course through the scenic park grounds. Participants have the option to choose between several event formats:
- 5k Run/Walk
- 3.8 Miles Virtual Race
The in-person course is designated as pet and stroller friendly, allowing for a variety of participation styles. Registration includes a race t-shirt for those who complete their sign-up by March 1st. For registrations occurring after this date, t-shirts are provided based on remaining availability and are not guaranteed.
The physical race is held at 500 White Hall Shrine Road. For those unable to attend the event in person at White Hall Park, a virtual option covering a distance of 3.8 miles is available to support the marching band remotely. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
