Event overview
The Bamburgh Castle Duathlons take place on Sunday 19 April 2026 at the car park on Links Road, Bamburgh, NE69 7AX. Runs take place on paths and trails around the castle grounds and the cycles use open roads along the Northumberland coastline. A cycling helmet is compulsory and participants must follow the Highway Code. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. A secure transition area is provided for competitors; bike numbers must be attached and helmets visible before entering, and bib and bike numbers will be checked before exiting. Free parking is available. An event T-shirt is offered for purchase for £12. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. Relay entries are available.

- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5 km | Cycle 20+ km | Run 2.5 km
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10 km | Cycle 40+ km | Run 5 km
