Bamburgh Castle Duathlons 2026
The event takes place at Bamburgh Castle car park, Links Road, Bamburgh, on 19 April 2026. Runs are held on paths and trails around the castle grounds and the cycling sections use open roads. The event offers a relay option and is open to entrants aged 17 and over. Free parking is available for participants. Live chip timing will be used and an event T-shirt is available to purchase for £12. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, a snack and a drink. The Highway Code must be followed and a cycling helmet is compulsory. Any type of push bike may be used.

- Sprint Duathlon: Run 5km | Cycle 20+km | Run 2.5km
- Standard Duathlon: Run 10km | Cycle 40+km | Run 5km
Route maps are provided for each section. A secure transition area is provided for competitors only. Race number and bike number correspond to racking spots; small bags or boxes are permitted inside transition. Bike number must be attached and helmet visible before entering transition, and bib and bike numbers will be checked before exiting. The event is held on open roads.
