Bald Eagle Half Marathon : White Bear Township, MN
The Bald Eagle Half Marathon is held on a certified course that loops around Bald Eagle Lake. The race distance is a half marathon, 13.1 miles, and the course follows lakefront and nearby countryside roads.
Aid stations are placed about every 1.5 miles and are stocked with Hammer electrolyte mix and gels. Portable toilets are available at four locations on the route. All finishers receive a custom molded finisher medal. A pancake breakfast at the finish is included in the race fee when weather permits.
Race-day packet pick-up is at the Bald Eagle Recreational Area. Race packets include the race bib, timing chip, and event shirt if the shirt option was selected; participants who register within two weeks of the event may receive shirts by mail 3 to 4 weeks after the race and size requests are not guaranteed. Free professional photography will be provided, though not every athlete is guaranteed to be photographed. Official results are provided by frontrunnerusa.com.
Awards are given to the top overall male and female athletes and to the top three male and female finishers in the listed age groups; overall winners are not eligible for age group awards. Race day registrations accept cash or check only. A 10 percent military discount is available with paper registration and proof of service.
